Hello!! My name is Emily Hudson and I am the owner and sole floral designer for The Native Iris, LLC. I have always loved to create, whether it be painting, party planning, or designing florals for a special occasion. There is something about the art of flowers that makes any event just a little more special.When I was a little girl, my grandmother's yard was always filled with

the most beautiful blooms. Tulips, begonias, azaleas and beds and beds of Iris’. Those same Iris grow in my parents yard, just down the road from here. I am a native to Oconee County and still live here today. I am a mom to an energetic, history loving 9 year old named Boone and have been married to my husband Daniel for 13 years. They are my biggest fans and loves of my life.

After 15 years in healthcare and management, I had the opportunity to pursue my dreams of floral design, and took the leap. Flowers are so much more than an arrangement on the food table. The colors, smells, size, shape can spark a memory or take you back in time. They can remind you of your favorite vacation, a favorite sunrise or a defining moment in your life. When

designing florals, I make intentional choices to connect you to your arrangements. To me, flowers are the perfect way to make any event feel intimate, original, and intentional. I am so looking forward to working with you here at Magnolia Manor. The beauty of this home paired with beautiful blooms and people you love will create lasting memories. The kind that

makes you smile when you see tulips in the grocery store or Iris in the wild.
